2. Gangsters block
3. Police department
4. Ocean/Sea for dumping
5. A bright/rich city part
6. A dark/poor city part
7. Chinatown
8. Gun dealer with spray
9. A cool gangs in black outfit and S-Uzi's
10. Red Light District
11. Small hospital and fire department
12. One part of the town (maybe bright/rich side) is on higher ground (top of the hill) and the other side at lower height.

Quite a list... Do i need to put that all in one map? Or different maps? Or several in one, and in 1 map, etc? Already got a racing track. Isnt hard or impossible, but will take time to make all.

And i guess ill first do maps, then make the scripts for the map, etc.

Edit: Practicing might take a while, takes time to build a map, and after map is done needs remaps, and any details map editor cant make, like, cars, objects, peds.(script peds, not your usual cillivan, or whatever you call them.)

I guess i can start as soon as i know if any of the list idea's need to be placed in one big map and/or in small ones. Will be a pain in the ass for my small hard disk, of 14GB. Razz But not impossible.

Edit2: I mainly use bil.sty, but if it needs other sty files, it would be handy to name that. And if a new combines sty file is planned, it might not work well since sometimes such files make sound go away.

In the real movie world (lol) they do not have one big city where they shoot (take the movie) in. But small parts and half homes, you know, like the old cowboy movies.

I think for our movie the best would be 2 or 3 maps. So we don't need to reload too often and not too big to get everybody to the right 'shoot' location (in case the action/recorded movie part goes wrong).

But I'm not sure if we can capture long shots in 2 (or 3) broken city's...

Hmmm... Ill see what can be combined, and not, tough, either secret passages to get to next stage or something else, if not needing special script.

Oh yeah, not sure what the Red Light district exactly looks like, so any idea's on that. And most normal city things can be put in one big connecting map i guess.

And gangs MIGHT desynch multiplayer, so not sure if its so handy, but best to test it first, i guess.

Fraps 2.90 (now better Vista compatible) is released yesterday, there is a retail version, should I post it here?

In gta2 single player (map 2, not sure) you see red/pink lights at the start, maybe there are more of those and I suggest you just put them together in a dark street. Maybe add some broken lights and dark alleys.

I could of course paint some city lay out today, if you like? I'm not sure if I can do that but maybe it helps. Many games and movies today are created/based on artistic/digital/design paintings.

Made a map and has some things in the list, like, that Gangster block, combined the 2 gang idea's into 1 gang with black remap and silenced uzi's.
Also has police, fire department, gun dealer(shop) and spray shop, a bit combo of poor and rich city parts, also this red light district, and docks with dumping place and boat. Oh yeah, also an hospital. Doesnt have a high ground side tough, but if rooftops will do too, and i dont think any sty file has anything possible for Chinatown.

Seems to be all to name. Maybe all get on the GH sometime, and do the map with 3-4P, if naming time, i'd prefer digital, since its annoying to calculate the time on clock to digital.

And will the map need any weapons? Or script could give players weapons, of course, instead of picking up. Like at start of Gun Town.

Edit: Ill be making a 1-4 player script now i guess. And finishing some small bugs, if any.
I guess best to not fully compress it, since might need changes.

Edit2: For fun increased elvis rate. I love destroying the group with a good blow or quick run down, hehe.
*cough*Edit3: Sleeping and waking up on weird times, but ussually enough time on evening, like, 17:00+ dutch time. Or maybe later then that...

Edit4: Gonna sleep i guess, will certainly be available tomorrow. Razz Vacation is HORRIBLE for sleeping times if there are no ristrictions lol.

Edit5: Added some more, another dumping place, kinda.
And is anyone even still checking this forum!? The map is ready to test, only needs mmp's and SCR's. And i wonder what player remaps...

The Gangster area, combined gang idea's into a single gang, roaming the sidewalks in the area.

The Docks, with a kind of pit to trow things in, boat, and another thing to destroy things, that one is unaccesible tough.

EDIT: Oh yeah, map is a little updated, and bugs killed.
And the Red Light district made... unaccesible by car on road, kinda.
Only peds there now.
Now to make a reason for the blocking on both ends...

Hmmm... What did i need to put in the bot map anyway?
What must it look like, and what must bots look like?
And their tactics, weapons, etc, much possible things to make, if i can make a carbomb even for a bot.

And thinking about making a multiplayer version of the movie scene i was building, as i got a nice idea... Hehehe... Made the... Map go from bright sunny day from VERY dark night, and back to sunny day, can use the shadows for an suprise, tough ill not add mines, i guess.

And any need for a switch in-game from day to night? For the movie.
Edit: Will have to play around a bit to make it less dark, for movie, perhaps, since the darkness is... So dark you only see lights, and NOTHING else, emergency lights do act like street lights in them tough.
Names might also get trough in multiplayer. Never tried tough.

Bit too much to think about any part to make, maybe you can tell it better, of what the enviroment needs to look like, and such, hmm... And a bit about the bots, if any info on that.

Cant make out much of the story. And some if it probaly needs the city map instead?

Pretty big project by now Razz
And BTW also know perhaps a fun role for me? But if recording is too laggy... Hmmm...

Edit: Perhaps also put some funny errors, bugs, in credits, as some movies have, lol, some bloopers, failed scene's, etc?
If the movie EVER finished it will probaly be good.

Edit2: I hope alot of bots wont crash, or alot of cars, there is kinda a limit on scripted cars and peds, but the limit seems to depend on the person's CPU stat. The higher, the more it can take before crashing...
My little 128 MB RAM or so wont help much, or my nearly full C disk.

Maybe a good idea to start practicing on the map that is finished?
Map#2 will come later.
Who'd like to start filming this week, or are we postponing it (again)?

Maybe finnaly possible to do some parts, if even some people are left.

And i still got the race course map around in data somewhere.
Some info on bot map(as i cant find any info back) would be usefull.
Mainly how the area must look like, etc. And perhaps if its either stealth or a big war, lol.

Stealth might be cool, possible for multiplayer too, of course but will attack ALL players, not too usefull for a player in there being also an enemy.

Edit: When will we meet then anyway? Im not too good with time, naming it in dutch too will help.
