I think ill vote for the second intro movie.

And maybe in the movie some small scenes of something else get shown, like, of the bad guy(s). Also a small idea: Maybe the bad guys are making a kind of super car, or something? Witch could be used in a race scene, or something. Oh yeah, car statuses can be edited, making them faster then normal, trough CPU players keep using same speed however.

And bot controlled tanks might be fun, hehe, if you move left and right enough, but not slow down too much, they wont be able to lock on, to shoot, if made able to shoot. If you keep driving straight, they will certainly be able to lock on. Razz

I like the 2nd intro (download for first one didn't work). The music was good in both versions. I also like that you link GTAMP.com Very Happy

Yeah, I tried to extract the sound effects, but I think it would not make a huge difference to the intro. It is fine how it is now. Good job!

yeah, that's no problem... but ... could you send me that GTA2 effect with sound so I can put it on the intro and save it with high video quality. Or if you want, you can do it yourself. It's just that, I would like to keep the total video in a decent/high video quality, so when it's finished we can - or - upload to google/youtube (bad quality) - or - host ourself a high quality movie. Smile

The script is still not done and we don't exactly know Awi's story, so my guess is that you have to gonna wait Carthief, sorry. Althought, can you tell me if we can use gta2-script/program to make nice camera movements? Like, can you program/script that you first fly over the town and water and see some streetaction (like a green pedestrian stealing a car) and than slowly to the players? Maybe we can even make big parts of this movie just script/program based...

For any peds to spawn, a player must be near, and for the camera effect, you could use debug keys, in single player. Peds etc for the street action could be script made. Debug key's camera thing does move a little fast.

hmm... it isnt atleast impossible, just a bit of work.
After that, you could stop recording, and with same place, or something, record multiplayer, or something.

To keep this topic a bit a life I have fixed the intro (maybe last time, still not sure about the background music) and made a new credits preview.

The old intro's have been deleted from the host (not PC) and will not be download-able.

The new file, see link below, has the fixed intro and credits in one.

The credits is just a preview and nowhere close to the end results but If you guys give some crits I can upgrade this credits to the good end result.
Like: different font? different playtime short movies in credits? different short movies in credits? different backgroundmusic (i think so... I have bad music collection)? short movie sound go over bgmusic? moving short movies or static? shorter/longer credits viewtime? what else should stand in the credits? you get the idea...

I enjoy making these things, so far, so bring on the crits!, lol.

@Awi. I will take a closer look at the script (about my movie part) in the weekend and look at the possibilty of using voices in the movie.

The intro and credits look professional, but intro whose I send you will a bit longer (I think).
Credits are also great with gta2 intro movie, but we need use something different credits, not only ABC etc, hehe I saw CarTheft there Smile

I havent any ideas on credits... I can only add some ideas about style, the music can be same like in intro or something fast, I wont say more becouse I special in trance music. The font can be same like in GTA2 (menu), gta2 intro clips can stay, it looks really splendid. And finally, delete that last sound Razz

Credits might need a little edit, maybe show who did what thing, like, a few the script, a few the editing of the movie, the maps, music, etc.
Edit: the parts of the GTA2 intro movie during credits fit nicely.

And the sound/music thing at the end is a funny end. Razz

Hmm... how long for this vacation thing to start, too much things on my mind to remember(Do have time to make maps, if soon there are things to build).

ROFL, the "thank god i had my suzi" sound was just a little joke. I don't think we will put it in the real movie.

@Bit, I like making these short intro and credits, but we need a good script with nice movie scenes so you can help us with that.

I wonder when Awi is gonna post a reply again, the movie was his idea in the first place...

Ok first of all. Excuse me if I can not respond to everything right away, do not get upset. I am also devoted to this project. Since when we are trying to 'restrain' people to this? Razz

I took (still take) time to reply to things in and outside the forum and am working on the script but you all know that Wink

Maybe some other background music yeah, I can not think of a suitable one just right now. Maybe start the movie with some not so intense songs, so the sound effects will come to the foreground and will be suitable to the chosen vid effects. Fonts are ok, It is readable.

In the credits maybe an hommage to our other movies in the small screens? Our names repeates itself again and again, why not trying to use an alibi haha. Big gun Awi, Pistol Pete, Bit the butcher.
U get the idea, the Simpsons like to use crazy names during special events in the credits 'Simpsons did it' haha

And Cuban why do you always forget to credit the music haha Razz

I really like a traditional ending after the hommage; white letters, black background, rolling screen from top to bottom. Do not know if people will read it, but hey it belongs to all long movies.

yeah I agree with AWI, i aslo prefer traditional ending.
I downloaded AWI music and the refrain of song 'The Sopranos - Alabama 3 - Woke Up This Morning' can be used in the credits.
